Ronnie Paulson owned and operated Marsh Creek Grand Prix from 1985 to September 25, 2001. He was an avid race fan and competitor, he enjoyed meeting people of all types, he promoted racing at the track because he loved the sport. On September 25, 2001 Ronnie had a fatal heart attack at the track he loved. Each racing season is a tribute to him along with a race in his honor, without him there would be no racing at Marsh Creek Speedway. Read an article on Ronnie from Area Auto Racing News

Here is a picture of Ronnie Paulson's first late model. The photo was taken at Grandview in 1973. Ronnie never won at Grandview with this car but he did win 5 out of 8 features at Bridgeport with it in '73. Bridgeport ran 6 cylinder late models and sportsman in '73 and that must have been something to see 6 cyl. cars on that big track. The car was the former Bill Stief #61. Bill and his dad Jack were good friends of Ronnie & his brother Jake.
Here is a photo of Ronnie Paulson in the famous PB Pinto. This photo is from 1981 when Ronnie was one of the top guns at US 13 Speedway in Delaware. The pale green color was vintage Paulson. Here he is seen racing against Charlie Phillips.
A signed picture of Ronnie and his modified in the pits.
This was Ronnie's car in '76. It looks like opening day because the car looks pretty clean. This car was the second Anthony's Furniture car and Ronnie won his first feature in this car at U.S.13 that year. It was their closing show, I think it was a 76 lapper. In 1977 Ronnie won 16 features and the Modified point championship at U.S.13, he had a great year. In '78 he won three features and they were the last features he won in that car. He was awesome to watch at U.S.13,
he ran the high groove like no one else could.
